3 Italia Portal Based MobileTV

Today 3 Italia, Hutchinson Group Operating Company, has introduced a new version of its portal-based MobileTV, that enables its users to enjoy exciting TV service anytime simply clicking on TV widget at 3 Italy mobile Internet portal “Pianeta 3”.

The new service is based on H.264 video codec that guarantees an extremely improved video quality for a great variety of live channels and Video on Demand movies.

3 Italia MobileTV provides a vast choice of single or bundle channels (both free and subscription-based) from major broadcasters operating in Italy for news, sport, cinema and entertainment video services.
The user can manage its subscription to MobileTV channels anytime through “TV Subscription management” page, controlled by a specific web-based tool.

The browser-based service is available on an extensive range of mobile handset models that include Nokia, LG, Samsung, Motorola, Sony Ericsson, BlackBerry, HTC and Plam phones (JME, Symbian and Windows Mobile platforms).
