Intuit GoPayment Application is Now on App Store

Intuit Inc. announces the launch of the iPhone version of its mobile payment application. The free application is available on Apple’s App Store.

GoPayment is the new Intuit service launched in May. The solution was designed to enable small business owners to get paid for their products and services wherever they go. All they have to do is go to www.gopayment.com on their mobile browser or open a handset-optimized mobile application and digit their customer’s credit card information. The whole transaction takes just few seconds. The user can also choose to send a receipt to the customer via SMS or email, or, in case the mobile application is used, to print the receipt using optional hardware connected to a cell phone via Bluetooth technology.

The Go Payment application is already available on a number of Motorola and Sanyo phones, as well as on high-end smart phones like BlackBerry Curve and Palm Pre. The launch of GoPayment application for iPhone, one of the most popular smartphones on market, will undoubtedly enhance GoPayment service usage.
