SuperTV, Pelephone’s highly successful multimedia solution is shortlisted for another prestigious prize - Star Awards 2009.

The award is guided by MobileVillage, US media & communication agency operating on technology market, and is aimed at highlighting industry’s top mobile products, success stories and visionaries in such categories as: Consumer Applications, Enterprise Software, Operator Software, Hardware and others.

Pelephone’s SuperTV shortlisted in Consumer App: Entertainment or Media Service category was developed in close collaboration with beeweeb technologies. The solution offers an unprecedented mobile experience that combines multimedia content of all genres ( Live TV channels, unlimited VOD and music selection) within a unique appealing user interface.

The interactive core of the SuperTV platform is based on beeweeb widget-based infrastructure that enables smooth navigation and switching between different types of content, together with unlimited possibilities for interactivity and advertising and cross-selling, bringing users’ entertainment of choice straight to their mobile phones.

The winners are planned to be revealed in the middle of November.
