Success story. Intuit GoPayment
In 2008 beeweeb has become a technology partner of Intuit Inc. leader in US for financial & accounting software solutions for the market of small and medium enterprises.
One of the projects beeweeb has closely collaborated on with Intuit is GoPayment, a mobile payment solution which allows to receive instant credit card payments using any mobile device.
GoPayment service, launched in May 2009, is targeted to small business owners and professionals that provide services outside their shop or office (plumbers, hairdressers, delivery service providers etc.) and often need to get paid on the spot. With GoPayment installed on the phone they just need to type their customer’s credit card information into the application or even swipe the card through a portable Bluetooth credit card reader. The whole transaction takes just few seconds.
Furthermore, the user can choose to print the receipt using a portable printer or just send it to his customer by SMS or email.
GoPayment user can manage and monitor payment transactions online (on web and mobile web) through an online service center. Moreover, the data on received payments can be imported to Intuit accounting software (QuickBooks).
GoPayment service can be accesses on any mobile phone on mobile web page (www.GoPayment.com) or, for improved user experience, through a downloadable application.
The mobile client application is currently available on Sanyo and Motorola handsets, as well as on the latest models of smartphones: iPhone, BlackBerry Curve and Palm Pre and new mobile phone models are following shortly.
