From November 2007, also Auditorium Parco della Musica (a famous Roman music complex) website can be accessed by mobile phone: ahead of other cultural institutions, and of most businesses and public administrations, Auditorium in collaboration with beeweeb technologies has created a “mobile” version of its auditorium.com website.

With its new “mobile ” service, the Rome Auditorium becomes one of the first players to enter the Mobile Internet arena. After focusing on its successful website - auditorium.com receives more visits than any other cultural institution site in Italy - Musica per Roma Foundation has decided to expand its services by giving visitors the chance to keep up to date wherever they happen to be. All you have to do is connect to the Internet via your mobile phone, go to m.auditorium.com, download and listen to podcasts, view the programme of events and call the ticket office automatically by clicking on the number shown.

The Auditorium’s new mobile site has been designed by beeweeb technologies, an Italian company specialized in the design and development of mobile solutions. beeweeb began working with Musica per Roma (the Foundation that manages Auditorium complex) in 2004, and is responsible for designing and managing the website. The platform used for the Auditorium’s new “mobile” site has been developed by beeweeb with the aim of facilitating the construction of sites for all businesses and public bodies interested in developing mobile services. Called “Mobile Web Toolkit”, the platform makes it possible to create the mobile version of a website very quickly because it can handle the content management systems already used by the website, automatically adapting webpages to the format of hundreds of different mobile devices and providing a publishing tool for the m-site.
